Since its formation in 1968 Burridge Cricket Club has gone from strength to strength and is now known as one of Hampshire's most respected Cricket Clubs, providing the finest facilities for men's, ladies and colts cricket. The club boasts four men's teams. Our 1st XI competes in the British Gas Southern Premier League and the 3 other XI's compete in the Hampshire Cricket League. Our colts section is thriving with age groups ranging from u9's to u15's, we also run a unique Academy system that provides specialised additional training and coaching opportunities for a selected squad of players aged 15-23. Our ladies team play in the Hampshire Ladies Premier Division and have a squad that includes a blend of experienced players and highly talented developing young cricketers including a number of representative county cricketers.

The Cricket Club has two grounds adjacent to each other on the banks of the River Hamble at Botley Road, Burridge. The main ground which has been nurtured by hard working long servants of the club boasts a cricket square equivalent in size to the Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire County Cricket Club. The playing surface is one of the best in the southern England and is supported by excellent practice facilities including three full bay artificial lanes and a number of grass nets on the main square. The main ground also has a state of the art electronic scoreboard, which provides players and spectators with full ongoing game information as it happens.

With over 150 members Burridge CC is part of the Burridge Sports and Social Club. New members are always welcome whether it be as a player, spectator, coach or volunteer, so come along to The Ridge and enjoy what we have to offer
